Not much has been said by Emma Stone since landing the role of Spidey's first love. While promoting her latest film "Easy A," Emma was asked about the subject by accesshollywood. Read the direct quote below.





LF: It’s great news that you’ll be starring in Spider-Man, how does it feel to be part of something so huge?

ES: I’m so excited, it’s going to be a crazy re-imagining and it’s going to be a lot of fun. It starts soon so I’m really looking forward to it.

It seems like everything is in place and just castings for minor roles are the last thing left before they begin shooting the film. I hope you all are as excited as me to see this new chapter in Spider-Man films.

yea, i know..bryce actually did a interview recently talking about them filming a movie together and if she gave her tips to play Gwen Stacy..

I agree with Lee, she'd be perfect as MJW, but I'm ok with her playing Gwen. And I'm happy with Sony acknowledging Gwen Stacy since she was Peter's first girlfriend and had such an impact on his life. Something they completely screwed up in the original trilogy by raping the character in SM3. And yeah, she's hot... but she's hotter as a readhead :P

I don't understand the logic behind "she's a natural blonde, so that's why she's Gwen." Uhh...HELLOO? Even if she is a natural blonde, how is she gonna grow her her hair back before filming starts? She's going to have to DYE her hair blonde, so that pretty much takes the natural out of it completely. She might as well have stuck with red hair and played MJW.

Emma Stone looks so perect with red hair! I can not imagine her as a blonde, but she'll still be hot.

Same with Bryce Dallas Howard, she's known for her red hair and dazzled in Spiderman 3.

This is gay, when i first heard of her being in the Spidey reboot i assumed she'd be MJ. This is lame.

I love Spidey so i'll still see it plus I've waited for the Lizard to appear in a Spidey film, so this film definitely has me amped for it.

I really like Emma Stone; one of the hottest young redhead women in Hollywood. But, I assumed she was going to be Mary Jane Watson, since she looks so much like her. She would have been perfect for the role besides Lindsey Elise. Emma looks better with red-hair than as a blonde. Now, Marc Webb should find an actress who's even hotter than Ms. Stone. Man...! I mean, I like Gwen Stacy, but Mary Jane is better!!!
