THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3 Would Have Ripped Off FUTURAMA
After killing off Norman Osborn foolishly in TASM2, Chris Cooper revealed that in a third film; Norman's character would expand while at the same time being just a head in a box which makes no sense. Click this now.
I think we all can agree that it's good The Aborted Spider-Man series died after 2 films. They were 2 terrible films starring an unlikable hero, a Mary Sue love interest, Aunt May wanting eggs, Uncle Ben dying because Peter was 2 cents short on milk money, Dog the Bounty Hunter killing Uncle Ben after learning Uncle Ben missed his court dates because he was involved in human trafficking, the writers recycling the Khan blood stuff from Star Trek Into Darkness and giving it to Spider-Man which makes no sense, and villains even more undeveloped and forgettable then MCU films. While it's unknown if Marvel Studios will do Spider-Man justice because Sony is still involved in the franchise, movies starring Spider-Man are probably in better hands then they were with Avi Arad but not as good hands as Sam Raimi. Beggers can't be choosers. Recently Chris Cooper spoke on his brief role as Norman Osborn who I think was in The Aborted Spider-Man 2. Don't remember. Saying that Norman's character would expand in a third film but at the same time be a head in a box like a Futurama character.
"I dare say if this 'Spider-Man' franchise had carried on, I was guaranteed a huge role in '[Amazing] Spider-Man 3.' That character was going to expand." Cooper revealed that Osborn would be revealed as a "head in a box" in the post-credits scene and confirmed it was shot. "Well, we shot the scene -- it's so weird -- but it didn't make it into 'Spider-Man 2,'" said Cooper. "I'm sure it would probably have been one of the opening scenes in 'Spider-Man 3' if they had gone ahead. But he was coming back. It's very bizarre, what they came up with."
Bizarre is probably the best word to give an adjective to TASM series in how bizarre a studio could mess up Spider-Man, Norman Osborn, and the death of Gwen Stacy. What are your thoughts? Would you want to see The Aborted Spider-Man 3 rip off Futurama like how Sony's Pixels ripped off Futurama? Comment below, let me know. Peace and remember...
