Well this is...interesting. A Reddit user by the name of BlackPanther2016 has declared his pent up rage at Warner Bros. for deleting key scenes from Suicide Squad, including several starring Jared Leto's Joker. The user claims that he was "laughed at for wanting a refund" and was subsequently thrown out of the theater. He also wanted 160 pounds for the drive he took from Scotland to London in order to see the premiere and how disappointed he was when specific scenes from the trailers did not make the final film.

"Don’t let them bribe you with their ‘deluxe premium special directors gold extended edition supreme cut’ nonsense. You should get what they advertised as their first theatre showing and what you have paid for based on what they have showed you in their advertisements.”

This statement does not only apply to Suicide Squad though. Remember the Ultimate Edition of BvS? Many users on this very site prefer that cut over the theatrical release, and it is frustrating when studios go the route of DLC in order to see a good version of a film.

Although BlackPanther2016's claims are on the same level as DC fans petitioning to shut down Rotten Tomatoes, I can't help but agree with him to some extent. I was looking forward to those scenes with the Joker, especially the one where Joker says he can't wait to show Griggs his toys. That being said, I'm won't sue the studios (because I'm way too broke as it is), but I would like to see an extended ultimate cut or Joker edition of the film. Didn't Ayer say there were more than a few cuts anyways? However crazy the user's claims are, the case is set to be reviewed and begin processing August 11th.

One last little tidbit, I saw Suicide Squad again last night and noticed another key scene was removed involving Katana. In one of the trailers, there's a brief blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment where her eyes go solid black. I'm not sure what that scene would have shown, but it looked really cool! It's a shame Katana didn't have many moments to shine; that one deleted scene may have made a difference!

What are your thoughts on this case? Do you think there's a real chance BlackPanther2016 will win? Do you want to see an Ultimate Cut of Suicide Squad? Sound off below and let your voice be heard!
