We already know that the theatrical cut of Suicide Squad was quite different to what director David Ayer had originally envisioned for his movie, with Warner Bros. making several major changes to the story and significantly altering the tone.

Ayer has already admitted that he'd love to be able to show the world his original cut of the film, but when asked about the possibility on Twitter, the filmmaker pointed out that it's simply not his call.
