Amanda Syfried Auditioned For The Man Of Steel and Sucker Punch

Amanda Syfried recently gave an interview where she revealed that she had originally gotten the lead in Sucker Punch and also auditioned for The Man of Steel.

In a recent interview while promoting her new film Red Riding Hood, Amanda Syfried revels that she had actually gotten Emily Browning's role in Sucker Punch and tried out and didn't get a role in the new Superman movie.



Said Syfried:

"I auditioned for a role in the new Superman and didn't get it. And I really wanted Emily Browning's role in Sucker Punch. I'd originally got that role and everything was in gear, but then I got the call from Big Love saying `we need you this season, you can't do it'.

"The director, Zack Snyder, fought for me, and I even called the head of HBO because I thought I wasn't being used in Big Love in a way that was worth me losing out on Sucker Punch. At the time it didn't seem like there was anything better. Big Love wouldn't let me go so I cried a lot. Then I realised that actually it was good that I didn't do it because, if I had, I wouldn't have done Red Riding Hood."

Amanda Seyfried has no business in Hollywood. After "Mamma Mia," "Letters to Juliet" and box office bombs like "Jennifer's Body," this girl needs to quit acting and get a real job. The only thing she has going for her are her doe-eyes, so maybe she can be a model. But she just needs to keep her mouth shut, because her dialogue is atrocious and the girl can't express emotion to save her life. Maybe her next role can be that of a robot without an emotion chip?

I think she looks great from certain angles and in certain pictures, then not so much in some. She seems like a decent actress although all I have seen her in was Jennifer's Body!

I like rachel mcadams also, but Jessica beil looks better and Olivia Wilde would be good also. Now this girl Amanda Syfried should have been Gwen Stacey so Emma could have played Mary Jane , just a thought!!!
