Here's a new frontal picture of Superman on set without his cape from the SuperheroHype boards. It's debatable as to whether SHH or the facebook Superman: Man of Steel (2013) page received the image first, so we'll mention them both!

As you can see in the pic there is no curl and some sort of belt stand in on his waist. Like most have observed, this look is pretty similar to the "Fly By" design.

they should've incorporated some kind of design for the red trunks, maybe not trunks but something to make the blue pop out and separate more. not too bad a design but please someone for the love of god tell me why he has a gold belly button? that belt buckle just seems pointless without a belt or trunks to hold them up.

This is incredible.

I think Henry Cavill will be the best Superman yet. I love Chris Reeve's Superman, but this one definitely is going to be a more modern take on it. I'm so psyched for this.

Personally I don't like the design. idk maybe it just looks plain without the cape and the red undies, but this just doesn't look too good to me. I still have a lot of faith in the movie though

Hey, I think it looks great. Very alien/Krypton culture. Opinion might change when I see the cape. Capes that have no function are meh to me.

Okay, like seriously, this suit looks A LITTLE TOO bland for me. On top of that, take a look at this site people:

It looks like us classic-loving fans aren't even going to get to see the yellow "S" on the back of his cape, ya know? This kind of SUCKS (IMO), but I AM STILL gong to see the film, since it's Snyder AND Nolan who are in-fact making it here, ya know? P :)

Cavill's neck is huge. You can tell he put on quite a bit of muscle mass for Supes. I don't think that suit has much padding to it.
