Spoiler: Tess Mercer tries to break into Watchtower, but accidenttaly traps herself and Chloe in the security system. While Chloe tries to stop the Kandorians from downloading information from her server (like you do), Oliver pays the price when he confronts Zod, and is unaware that he now has superpowers.

anil@ its not clark being a dumbass, thats the true essence of superman. he is always looking for the good in people. he is the true eternal optimist. thats what has made him endure as a character for so many decades. sure maybe the darker characters would say hey stupid, just kill them or kick thier ass, but thats not who superman is. his nickname is boy scout for crying out loud. if the writers portrayed him in any other way THAT would be a true departure from the source material, not the superficial departures like flying and costumes.

anil@ i agree to some extent, but in order to see the good in people and try to redeem them you must trust them to some extent. granted, you dont give them the keys to the figen kingdom, but you cant be overly suspiciously otherwise they wont buy your sincerity.

Clark hasn't been heroic all season. He sends an innocent bystander to the hospital, abandons his friends (while befriending his enemies, oy!), chokes and manhandles women, and leaves his burnt symbol all over Metropolis. He's never been further away from Superman in the entire series.

Chloe does seem to be showing a plethora of cleavage in that episode, while Clark and Oliver seem to be keeping the lid on their manooters. Looks like the ladies are going wild this year for sweeps.

Chloe has been overused and she has no business being with Ollie. Her marriage failed because she had an obsession with Davis that she blamed on trying to protect Clark and didn't trust her husband's word. I don't really think she's ready to get back into the dating world. But then again, she's not really dating Ollie. They're just banging each other right now. How romantic...

When will Clark get back to his signature colours? I'm really not feeling the All-Black wardrobe...

I've really come to respect and admire Oliver's character. A lot of the time we forget that he's just a man with a big bank account, and he's just trying to make a difference the best way he knows how. And he doesn't have any superpowers to fall back on. He's the hero for me right now.

Chloe, as always, is awesome. I really can't imagine Smallville without her. Despite the mess that Season 10 has made of her friendship with Clark, she's demonstrated time and time again that she's the woman who knows him the best, and has saved his ass countless times. Not that he seems to appreciate it much these days.

I really hope she's back in Season 10!
