What "I" Think About Superman..

Many people have different opinions about Superman, this is mine. Let me know what you think!

I like Superman, and I've heard a few opinions about him... really most of them are either "Superman is gayyy." or "Superman is a beast!". It's either big fan or I hate his guts, and honestly, sometimes Superman DOES seem to come off like like this..

...A complete weenie. But my opinion is that the actual character Superman, Clark Kent, is NOT a weenie, he is just falsely portrayed as one by some movie directors and T.V. shows. I mean seriously, this "T.V. show Superman" is a prime example.

THIS guy made me like lose almost all respect for one of the most "OP"(Over-Powered) Super-heroes there is. He was in short... a weenie. When I look back on it I don't even know why I watched one season of that show. They made Superman look like an indecisive, emotional, sorry, easily beaten, classic gullible weenie. All Im really trying to say here is that when your watching an animated film or film with real actors, and Superman is getting his masculinity taken from him by some villain that is no were near his strength, don't blame Superman.. blame the director because YOU KNOW this..

...Is NOT the real superman.. This is.

Hopefully the movie "Man of Steel" will prove my point.

Good point. I never used to think of Superman as my favourite super hero but this site has changed that! Half of my articles are about him and it made me reevaluate who he is and how I see him. The more I looked into it the more I saw that NO live adaption has portrayed him correctly, not even the Donner movies. Yeah, I said it!

If anyone wants to know who superman really is without trawling through comics I always recommend Superman: TAS and Justice League Unlimited. Otherwise you get a watered down version that perverts who he is.

The problem with most interpretations of superman in the past is they make him too infallible. While he has great power his soul is very human and that makes him more interesting when interpreted correctly. He is the most "HUMAN" of all super heroes even tho he is an alien.Yes he has villains that can go toe to toe with him but that isn't as big a deal as with other heroes the thing that sticks out is that no matter how many people he saves its the ones that he doesn't that resonate the biggest with him.His compassion makes him the greatest not his power.
