Turtle power, indeed.
The review embargo for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem lifted earlier today shortly after the final trailer was released, and critics have been sharing their verdicts to Rotten Tomatoes. So far, with 36 reviews counted, the reboot us sitting at a near-perfect 97% (via Toonado).
This is obviously a terrific start for the Seth Rogen-produced animated adventure, which has garnered high praise for its visual style, stellar voice-acting, and funny, emotionally-satisfying story.
It sounds like the third act is a little messy, and several reviews mention that not all of the Heroes in a Half-Shell are given enough time to shine (Leo and Mikey are the main focus, apparently). Even so, there's only a single outright negative review so far.
You can keep an eye on Mutant Mayhem's Tomatometer at the link below, and let us know if you plan on seeing the movie opening weekend.
