Paramount has released the "Shell Shocked" music video for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, which is due to hit theaters August 8th.  The music video, which was included in the TV spot that was released last week includes Jucy J, Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa featuring Kill The Noise & Madsonik and premiered on WWE.com earlier today.

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan. Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Characters Created by PETER LAIRD and KEVIN EASTMAN with a Screenplay by JOSH APPELBAUM & ANDRÉ NEMEC and EVAN DAUGHERTY, Producer MICHAEL BAY (the blockbuster Transformers franchise) and director JONATHAN LIEBESMAN (Wrath of the Titans) bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the popular franchise that has captivated audiences of all ages for decades, into the 21st century.

In what universe is this song simply a ridiculous parody and not attached to a multi-million dollar movie as if it's supposed to be taken seriously...because that's where I want to live.

@Superdude001

No one will remember them for this. They all have huge careers by now, at least in the rap genre. I don't like any of them, but Wiz will probably be remembered for "Black & Yellow". Juicy J for "Bandz a Make Her Dance", and Ty Dolla $ign for "Or Nah", unless they come out with bigger hits which they probably will.

Anyway, this song is bull. Kendrick Lamar (Leonardo), Schoolboy Q (Donatello), A$AP Rocky (Raph), and Childish Gambino (Mikey) should've done this.

@SuperDude001

The GA probably won't see this video. This song will probably be featured once the credits roll and the people who know the artist will recognize their voices and the other people won't care enough to look up who did the song because their names won't pop up on screen any time soon. This isn't a career defining moment for any of them. You'll just remember them for this because you don't know the artist.

I'm sorry, but you're completely wrong. This video has 5,040 views dude.

What the [frick] does the song have to do with the Turtles?! There just rapping about cars and money and throwing in some Turtle references here and there to some of worst lyrics I've ever heard in my life!

"Nunchuck doors"

WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?! At least Turtle Power and Ninja Rap were about the Turtles!

Whaetever about the rap, the chorus has a great catchy chord progression. If that's worked into the score it'd be good. Also apparently Ireland & UK don't get this movie until 17th October?!?

Bleh.
