Thor: Ragnarok arguably stole the show at Comic-Con this year and the highly anticipated threequel is now going to be the focus of Empire Magazine's next issue. As you can see below, they've revealed a special subscriber-only cover today which features some gorgeous artwork of the God of Thunder battling Hela (thanks to the trailers, we know this scrap ends with the destruction of Mjolnir).

This isn't concept art from the movie, though, as they enlisted comic book artist Russell Dauterman to come up with this awesome shot of the two characters going to war in the upcoming Marvel movie.

Chances are that the version of the magazine hitting newsstands will feature some official imagery from Thor: Ragnarok and that there will be plenty of new images inside too. As soon as those find their way online, we'll let you know, but sound off with your thoughts on this cover in the usual place.

Is that indicative of a costume change or just comic inspired?

@Kman - the only reason I am okay with comedian Thor, is because this is gonna be the best damn movie ever made!

I'm still wondering how this movie's structure works... Looks like he goes to earth with Loki to find Odin, meets up with Doctor Strange, loses his hammer, etc. ALL in the first half/hour of the film. Then everything after that is Sakaar and Asgard. It's just strange because those parts initially seemed like they'd happen in reverse, but then the Infinity War trailer showing that he still had short hair completely disputed that.
