Dinobots Returning For TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT

Transformers star Mark Walhberg has confirmed that the Dinobots whom we saw in Age of Extinction will in fact be returning for the fifth movie in the franchise with some new additions.

The Dinobots have been fan favorites in the Transformers franchise for many years, so it makes sense why they were among the most requested characters for the live action movies. While they did appeared in 2014 Transformers: Age of Extinction they were received with mixed to negative reception, mainly because they only appeared at the film's final act and had no speaking roles. But that may change as Transformers: Age of Extinction and Transformers: The Last Knight star Mark Walhberg during an Q&A video in his Facebook page confirmed we will see the Dinobots once again in the fifth movie with new additions.

“[Transformers: The Last Knight] is a cool new story, it’s kind of like a man on the run. Sir Anthony Hopkins is also in the film. We got a cool new cast, cool new robots, cool new villains and some cool new Dinobots. I think you guys are really going to go crazy for the Mini-Dinobots.”

This futher validates the plot leak from early this year where it was stated the Dinobots would appear with Mini Dinobots at their disposal, the idea of Mini-Dinobots is not new to the movie franchise, as the idea of the Dinobots having an army of smaller Dinobots was actually pitched for Age of Extinction as theres concept art where Scorn (the Spinosaur) is being followed by smaller Dinobots.

Whatever or not this means the Dinobots will have more screentime and some dialogue compared to the last movie is unknown, but we will find out in the coming months or when the movie gets released on June 23, 2017, but if you are someone who enjoyed the Dinobots in the last movie (like me) this clearly good news for you, stay tuned for more news on Transformers: The Last Knight and future movies in the series.

@Scarilian - is different with Bumblebee, because its made clear he cant speak, with the Dinobots theres no indication they cant speak, also lets remember that in order for them to speak (human language, not cybertronian) they have to learn our language first, which Optimus pointed in the first movie.

@Matador - That would probably be the most powerful combiner next to Predaking, if it were real, considering the Dinobots could defeat Devestator.

@Luminus - I thought Devastator was most strongest combiner it takes 6 bots to make him compared to Predaking. Even though Devastator does have a small weak spot in the back.

And yeah too bad Dinobots did not become a combiner when it had the chance. But this Dinocombiner looks pretty cool might have to buy it.

@Matador - Well, I just looked it up. According to Dreamwave's collection of bios, Monstructor (the Monster Pretender combiner) was the most powerful, able to destroy things simply by being there. Then there's Piranacon, who's apparently 160,000 times stronger than Bruticus, 16,667 times stronger than Computron, 8,000 times stronger than Predaking, and 57 times stronger then Metroplex.

@Luminus - Pirancon that take me back used to have that when I was a kid! But didn't even know he was that strong looked cool though.

Might have to pick up the updated one:
TFCToys Poseidon combiner (Piranacon)

Other than Monstructor (the Monster Pretender combiner)I don't even remember him but I did look him up and have to admit they did look kinda junkie for being the strongest there were.

@Matador - He's only the strongest because he literally sucks the energy from you, just by standing near you. I guess like Tornadron:

Does anyone know what the movie's plot actually is? It has King Arthur, Nazis, and Mark Wahlberg, three things that don't normally go together.

@Valdez -

Basically 'Transformers: The Last Knight' will centre around the legend of the Merlin and the Arthurian Knights of the Round Table. With Excalibur being the McGuffin of the movie.

After the previous film Optimus finds what is left of Cybertron only to realise he killed it during the events of DOTM and that the planet can only be saved by 'Magic' which is contained inside a powerful sword Excalibur (Adapting the Transformers sword known as the Star Sabre) There are some pretty epic clips of Optimus using the sword in the show 'Transformers Prime' which you can find on Youtube, basically it enables him to launch beams of energy and things like that.

How this ties into King Arthur is basically that a Transformer, one of the previously mentioned 'Knights' from Age Of Extinction, tried to hide the sword on Earth. Merlin discovered it and gained powers via being close to it. Its presumed that the Nazi scene they have been filming is because of the sword being passed down through the years.

In essence we follow what happened to the sword after it was left on Earth, similar to how we followed what happened to Megatron in the flashback in the 2007 movie.
