Say what you will about previous instalments of the franchise, but Transformers: The Last Knight is looking pretty damn cool. That's evident from the full Super Bowl TV spot for the movie which you can see below, and it features a lot of great shots, including the apparent demise of Dinobot Grimlock!

Set to be released on June 23rd this year, Transformers: The Last Knight will feature the return of Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager as well as new roles for Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael. With Bay back in the director’s chair, the screenplay for the movie was written by Iron Man's Art Marcum and Matt Holloway along with Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down). Plot details are currently being kept under wraps, but this new TV spot does at least offer some insight into what we should expect from the movie!

What do you think of this latest look at Transformers: The Last Knight? Sound off down below.

The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).

Well, you can't argue with the level of special effects in this series. We moan about Bay, but we'll all probably watch it....and secretly enjoy it!

@Stealthduck - Huh? The Special effects are one of the worst things about this series. Too cluttered and hard to tell what the [frick] is going on.

@CuddlyCereal - I think the effects are great, but the transformation process from robot to vehicle was far too over elaborate, we couldn't really see it happen insofar as the original animated series/idea.

@ALostCause - Doctor Strange just passed Man of Steel at the box office; DCEU should've had a trailer to boost their marketing.

Oh my God, they're doing the 'Humans hunting Transformers' thing again? WHY?!?! It didn't make sense in AOE and it makes even less sense now, given that the Transformers have saved Earth 4 times and the entire previous Transformer-hunting operation turned out to be a front for an alien invasion. Why bring back this ridiculous, uninteresting plotline?

@TheBritAvenger - Its like in Marvel comics, doesnt matter how many times lets say Spider-Man or the X-Men saved people, the people will always be against them.

But lets keep in mind with AOE, it was an rogue organization doing this and its not uncommon for Transformers to have an organization of Humans that are against the Autobots, its been done before outside the movies, in what context it will be shown here, as of now is still unknown.

This film will probably be decent, for some reason all the odd number transformers are decent ( Transformers, Transformers: Dark fo the Moon), and all the even number ones are hot trash (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Age of Extinction).

...I'm not saying that robots can't have full and pouty lips, but those are some pouty [frick]ing lips.

Just a jagged pile of rusted metal with that someone put one of those wax lips things on.
