The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime "Transformers" character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

Thanks to the site Transformers Wiki, which gave us two new images of the movie's action figures featuring the villain Shockwave and the NASCAR Autobot Roadbuster from the Human Alliance line, which will be released with a human mini-figure listed as 'Sergeant Recon'.

UPDATE: The Transformers: Dark of the Moon video game has also got two new items, first is a background image from the site featuring a cool new shot of the Decepticon Shockwave.

And again thanks to Transformers Wiki, which has got a new screenshot of the game with Laserbeak.

With the cast of Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson as well as the voices of Peter Cullen and Leonard Nimoy, Transformers: Dark of the Moon will land on theaters on July 1, later this year!
