When Season 4 of Rick and Morty finally premiered towards the end of 2019 fans were thrilled to say the least. After another lengthy duration devoid of intergalactic adventures the team behind the show promised that wouldn't be an issue going forward. However, after episode five of Season 4 dropped no one has heard word one on when the show will return which has definitely left some fuming.

While it has been an uncomfortably long wait for new Rick and Morty episodes there have been shorts released to help tide fans over in the meantime. Another video about the character of Mr. Poopybutthole and his family was released for the holidays and the Super Bowl saw an ad for Pringles featuring notable characters Rick, Summer, and Morty. Pringles has also released a Pickle Rick brand of chips as a part of their crossover marketing campaign for 2020 with more unknown things surely to come.

The latest in the way of tide-overs was recently posted to the official Rick and Morty Twitter account. Seen below, the video features a noticably different art style than the show normally does. Take a look for yourself and see what you think.

Did you enjoy this latest short, titled Rick's Game or would you have preferred some sort of announcement as to when the new episodes will return? Let us know what you think in the comments!

An animated series on adult-swim about the infinite adventures of Rick, a genius alcoholic and careless scientist, with his grandson Morty, a 14 year-old anxious boy who is not so smart. Together, they explore the infinite universes; causing mayhem and running into trouble.

Rick and Morty Season 4 is expected to return from hiatus this month. For a limited time you can watch the episodes free here.

Nice little animation. Adult Swim always does shorts and bumpers with different styles all the time. Enjoyed season 4 so far but the wait for new episodes doesn't bother me one bit. Give me a chance to check other shows out.
