BETTER CALL SAUL Star Bob Odenkirk Reportedly Rushed To Hospital After Collapsing On New Mexico Set

Deadline has confirmed that Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk collapsed on the New Mexico set of the AMC series yesterday. Very few details have been revealed, but we do know that the the 58-year-old actor fell to the ground and was immediately "rushed" to hospital.

What happened, and his current condition, is unknown. However, Odenkirk is believed to still be in hospital, though it wouldn't be unusual for the actor to have been kept in overnight for routine observations.

It goes without saying that we're wishing the Incredibles 2 star a speedy recovery and certainly hope this is nothing too serious. As noted, Odenkirk was in New Mexico shooting the sixth and final season of Breaking Bad prequel, Better Call Saul. The series is expected to return early next year following delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic that significantly pushed back its return date.

Sony Pictures Television has issued no comment on what happened.

Odenkirk has an incredible comedy background, but put himself on the map playing Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad. His star has been on the rise ever since, and he most recently kicked a lot of ass in Nobody. Rumours (though not overly reliable ones) have also persisted that he could play the MCU's Norman Osborn.

Get well soon, Bob!
