I am one of the top players in AMC's Spread The Dead contest. I've been promoting this show since it was greenlit! and now, I stand to get recognition for my work. I'm currently third place in the contest (I'm ItsAllOurBlood), but I can't hold that for long.
It was just brought to my attention that Harry Knowles of Ain't It Cool News is using his position to beat out us little guys. The guy who gets paid to go to cons, screen movies, gets free stuff all the time and hang out with our nerdy hero celebrities is using AICN articles to post his referral link. He has over 4,000 clicks and this is just his second day of playing.
It is impossible for us little, unaffiliated people who lack masses of followers to beat him. It's completely unfair and I don't really know what to do.
So, I was hoping that you, understanding my plight, might be able to help. Is there any way you could see it in your heart to promote my link and help me beat Harry? Surely you see how shitty it is that someone in his position is abusing it just to beat out the average Joe who has to do hard work to promote this thing.
