The Walking Dead Gets 90 Minute Premiere; Big Changes Made To Schedule!

Thats actually a very smart way to do the show. That allows it to stay relavent all year as opposed to just 6 episodes spanning a mere month and a half and then soon forgotten. Then they can repete the whole thing back to back just in time for next season. That is, if the show can come off the line strong and keep its momentum going up to the finale. Hopefully they won't have any filler episodes that tend to drag a series down. And I really hope they kill off shanes character in the first or second episode. They really need to just gank him and move on. Just my opinion as a big fan of the comics. Shane really needs to die soon and they need to bring in tyrese. I just hope this series can go for at least five seasons and that we get to see the prison and all that madness. Well, thats my 2 cents and I'm all out of change.

P.S. I should write my own articles, guess I'm just too lazy, LOL!!!!! Maybe in future, who nows. Lord knows I've lurked here long enough, Wah ha ha, Wah ha ha haha!!!

AMC is getting way too involved. Im worried about this season

I should be sick of zombies by now having played left for dead 1 and 2 for two years straight. Then we had Zombieland and the Walking Dead last year. Now we have a new zombie game called Dead Island coming out next week, a new season of Walking Dead next month, and World War Z movie for next year...and I'm just as excited now as I was a few years ago! I guess killing zombies or seing zombies get killed never gets old.

WHAT I WILL MISS IS DARABONT...

Frank Darabont, the writer/producer/director of AMC's highest rated show, The Walking Dead, was recently fired. Why? Apparently because he wouldn't budge when AMC tried to cut $600,000 from the budget.

They passed forward stupid ideas such as shooting half of the scenes inside and half outside, or producing the sound of zombies instead of the visual effects to save on costumes and makeup. They don't seem to care about staying true to the source material at all, rather simply wanting to make the series as cheaply as possible. Considering they were given a tax credit by the state of Georgia to fund the project, this kind of cost cutting is absolutely ridiculous.

When Darabont wouldn't go along with the changes, they fired him. According to insider sources, they also warned the actors on set to keep quiet about the issue lest they also be fired. This kind of...really sucks. The Walking Dead was one of the best new shows in years, but now AMC would rather cut their costs than to make a decent show. Oh yeah, "they know television" alright. They know how to be jackasses like every other television studio in existence. Way to go AMC, you just made yourselves look like idiots.

...and yes, I'm aware this isn't exactly new information, but I just heard about it for the first time and it pissed me off. I felt like sharing it with others who may not have known of AMC's douchery.
