I figured he would be on the pick list, only so many tall long haired actors out there. I hope he goes out better then he did in the comics.

As a bearded big man who always wears a beanie, I hated this guy because suddenly everyone started calling me Opie.

Wasnt till I got fed up and actually watched the show that I didn't mind being called Opie because it was a great show and Opie was a loveable character.

Glad he is getting more work.

This is the last stand for the walking Dead. If the ratings continue to spiral downward, and they probably will without Ruck and Maggie...this will be the penultimate season...and do a shortened wrap up final season.

I wanted him for Sabretooth for a long time. He could still do it, Feige.

Beta was very meh in the books. I felt he was rather 2d, not like the whispers have that much personality to begin with. The reveal in the book was 'oh that's who he is, NEXT'.

Hope Angela Kang does the Whisperers justice in the show. They were incredibly underwhelming in the comics with no real goals or purpose other than being the new generic bad guys after Negan.

One great twist would be to make Beta actually Davidson, the original founder of Alexandria in the comics who was exiled and driven insane. That was a great fan theory before Beta's identity reveal and would've been a lot more interesting than what we got.
