The CW has found great success through its adaptations of popular DC Comics franchises through Arrow and The Flash. With the former of those two shows getting ready to air its fourth season, and the latter its second, this October, fans have been eagerly awaiting an official trailer for either series to be released - and now, for the most part, the wait is over.
While fans must continue to wait for the release of a trailer for the sophomore season of The Flash, the official Stephen Amell Facebook page has just released a full trailer for the show's fourth season. Fans can assume that The Flash WILL have a trailer released within the next week, as the release of this trailer marks both Arrow and iZombie having trailers released.
In the trailer, we get a look at who brings Oliver Queen back to Star City, why the city's name was changed, get our first look at season antagonist Damien Dahrk, we see Matt Ryan's John Constantine, Mr Terrific (or at least Michael Holt) handling what appears to be a T-Sphere prototype with Felicity Smoak, that John Diggle's helmet isn't quite as bad as it seemed in the image revealed yesterday (just), and... well, I'll just let you see for yourself.
So, what did you guys think of the new trailer? Did you think it was as "Internet Breaking" as Co-Showrunner
Wendy Mericle claimed last week? Are you excited for the new season of
Arrow, or are you growing weary of the show following its poorly-received third season? Are you more excited for
Arrow season 4 or
The Flash season 2? Sound off in the comments below, and be sure to share and hit that thumbs up!
Arrow premieres its fourth season on
October 7, on
The CW.
After defeating his most formidable foe to date and riding off into the sunset with longtime flame Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen (a.k.a. The Arrow) left Starling City with the hopes of beginning a new life. But will Oliver ever truly be able to leave behind his past as the Arrow, and, if so, what becomes of the team he has worked so hard to assemble? Will Diggle, Thea, and Laurel be left to continue Oliver's crusade without him? And with Malcolm Merlyn having ascended to the top of the League of Assassins as the new Ra's al Ghul, is anyone really safe?
