Four new character banners for Krypton have been released in anticipation of the SyFy show's March 21 premiere, each one representing a different house and family crest.

Houses El and Zod will obviously be very familiar to even casual Superman fans, but Vex and Em will also play a big role in the events that lead to the destruction of the planet.

Check out the posters below, which also feature some pun-tastic taglines.

Representing House El is Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), who is Kal-El/Superman's grandfather and our main protagonist.

Next up is Nyssa Vex (Wallis Day). Interestingly, the crest seen here is the same - or very similar - to one sported by Seg-El in some recent promo stills.

House Em is represented by Dev-Em (Aaron Pierre), who is an ancestor of one of the Kryptonian council's High Eminence, Lor-Em.

And finally, we have Lyta Zod (Georgina Campbell), who is the grandmother of a certain warlike General that's caused the Man of Steel a lot of problems over the years.

So far this looks pretty good. SyFy needs a good show in a setting like this. Although I suppose they do have The Expanse.

These are awesome!

As much as people bitch and moan on this site..in regards to the premise of this show, I have to say I am so excited.

Personally I loved the extended Krypton scenes from Superman 1 and 2 and MOS. I want more in regards to Krypton. Just like how Gotham is a blast, hopefully this show will deliver as well.

This seems good but I want that MOS 2 sequel to "Fight like El" to get made.

Funny I only ran into Twitter the one that the main actor that plays Seg-El shared.

Krypton might be my first SyFy show I try out.

Good grief those puns… The only house I know that wasn’t listed here would be Clark’s maternal grandparents, so let’s go with “House of Van: Talk to the Van.” 😂

Seems silly, in the same vein as most of the other kid drama tv shows like arrow, AoS, etc.
