DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Will Introduce 'Connor Hawke'
Following the recent hint about a new character taking the mantle of "a missing hero who once stood for justice and hope,” it's been confirmed that this will indeed be Ollie Queen's comic book offspring, Connor Hawke - except this version won't actually be his son! More past the jump...
A while ago, TV Line reported that DC's Legends Of Tomorrow was casting an "African-American or bi-racial male who decides to put on the uniform of a missing hero who once stood for justice and hope.” Fans speculated that this might be Connor Hawke (son of Oliver Queen and Sandra Hawke, his college girlfriend) and Comicbook.com has managed to confirm that is indeed who it'll be... but with one pretty big twist.
According to them, this incarnation of the character "will not be the son of Oliver Queen and Sandra Hawke."
So who will he be? Well, taking into account the CW's other DC shows have recently introduced time travel elements and alternate realities, with characters coming in from Earth 2 on The Flash for example, there's a very good chance this Connor will actually be another version of Green Arrow (he has worn the mantle, and that of Red Arrow in the comics) or maybe even Ollie's son from the future.
What do you guys think? Legends of Tomorrow debuts on the CW in 2016.
