TV Line has learned that Melissa Benoist's former Glee co-star and current husband Blake Jenner has landed a recurring role on the first season of the hit CBS superhero drama Supergirl. He'll portray Adam Foster, a potential love interest for Benoist's Kara. The report describes his character as "a handsome stranger from Cat Grant's past whose arrival in National City tests Kara and Cat's relationship like never before. At the same time, Adam and Kara form a very unexpected connection"

Jenner's the latest Glee alum to appear on one of Greg Berlanti's DC television shows, following the likes of Benoist and Grant Gustin (The Flash). He's probably best known for winning the second season of The Glee Project.

What do you guys think of the casting? Sound off with your thoughts below!

The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. This show should be on the CW with all these stupid romances love triangles or love squares what ever the hell is happening. Some female power superhero who needs a man every two seconds.

They were great together in those leaked photos. As great as the pics where, for me it ruined the sweet Kara Danvers vibe that the show was going for lol

"Advance Review: Creed is a Masterpiece"!!

Ryan Coogler gets it too, can't wait for this

"This story, it just happens to have massive pop culture appeal, but Rocky movies were something that I sat down and watched with my dad," director Ryan Coogler said during a event at the Front Street Gym in Philadelphia, where parts of the movie were filmed. "It was something that as far as I was concerned for a long time, was about my family."

@DrKinsolving Im sooooooo glad its getting rave reviews. Coogler is a special filmmaker. This guy is prime for super stardom. Marvel needs to get him for Black Panther!!!! Besides a CBM, I hope he starts getting more offers for other types of films too. Glad to see my hometown on the big screen haha.

@ComicsBornAndBred

Coogler is awesome! I'm a huge Rocky fan, so I'm really happy to hear the reviews too

I want him for the Cyborg movie though, without a doubt. He would be a good fit for the family elements of Cyborg's story, plus just like Stone, Coogler used to play Football in College, and he's already working with WB, so I think that's a way better fit

But, back to the most important thing right now, haha, Creed!!

@DrKinsolving I could see him fitting into Cyborg well. I doubt he does Cyborg or BP as it looks like he's tied up with two upcoming films in the next four years. If the rumor I just read is true. It looks like he's tied to another sports drama film (focused on basketball) and a mystery film for The Weinstein Company.

This was the second guy in her pics. Her leaked pics had her ex and then him. The ones that were super porny were with this guy.

Here take my man card..........your comment is making my any head hurt! The show is awesome even though there is a high level of cheese associated it! Also if you have noticed the show is geared to young girls.........yeah imagine that a show for little girls watch and get excited for a female hero!

The last time a show did this was Wonder Woman........I could not imagine having my daughter watch Jessica Jones....right?

JoeMomma29 - 11/18/2015, 5:13 PM
@frozenjoy

There are two categories for television shows in my opinion. The first is regular network television...Fox, ABC, NBC, CBW, and CW.....and then there is paid channels like AMC or Netlfix where there are bigger budgets and more freedom with content.

That is why Walking Dead is awesome and shows like DD, and soon Preacher and Jessica Jones. I can only imagine what we would get if Watchmen do end up on HBO.

jws330 - 11/18/2015, 5:14 PM
Yes, there are Fappening pictures of her. Does that need to be mentioned in every Supergirl article? I watch the show every week and I will admit it has a lot of cheese and is much more suited for a young girl than middle aged men...but that's the point! Not everything can be for us.

Well, I didn't know that because I don't usually check out Supergirl articles. So for me, yes, it should be mentioned all the time.

What's ironic is that I only learned that from your comment, since I skimmed quickly to the bottom. Haha.

I just realized that I didn't tag you in the Rocky/Creed comment I posted, and it's really weighing me down
