Now that The CW has moved on from the romance between Kara Danvers and James Olsen, what is left to do with the character? Lucy Lane isn't around and the Girl of Steel doesn't really need his help now she's an experienced superhero, so Supergirl is taking the surprise decision to have him become a vigilante. In this first look at next week's instalment, we get a glimpse of him embarking on that path.

Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) must beat a ruthless new gang who has been armed with dangerous new alien technology. When Cadmus sends a video to the DEO, the team realizes Cadmus is the one staffing the criminals for a secret mission. Meanwhile, Kara (Melissa Benoist) gets Mon-El (Chris Wood) a job as an intern at CatCo, James makes an important decision and Lena (Katie McGrath) invites Kara to attend one her fundraisers. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn.

Maybe im spoiled but.... after what Netflix has done with many of their content I just can't get with the campyness of network TV. Now don't get me wrong. There are plenty of Network TV with great storytelling. But a lot of CGI, acting, and writing kill plenty of shows for me.

I hate Mon-El's character. He's just a prick for no reason....

Mon-El:"Was expecting someone more intimidating."

Jimmy like: "with yo 99 cent discount Clark Kent ass."

Honestly, that line makes no sense. Jimmy is a 6'4 black man. He's the epitome of "looking dangerous" in the modern world haha lol.

I like what they've done with this show but I'm still not 100% on board with their version of Jimmy Olson. It would've been better if they just made him an original character for the show I reckon.

Let me first start off with I have really liked where the show has been headed since moving to CW. On CBS the show had to much of a heavy hand on feminism which was way over done. Its better now. My only problem is that Jimmy is NOT Jimmy he is Ron Troup. For those of you who don't know who that is in the 90's there was a black reporter who worked with Clark and Lois and who even dated Lucy Lane in fact they might have even married but I could be wrong on that part but he was much cooler then Jimmy and that is who he is playing. I don't get why they didn't just call him Ron it would make far more since he was just as known as Cat Grant so if they could have used her then why not Ron and give us a real nerdy and fun Jimmy Olson?

I love how they mentioned War World, hopefully we get Mongul in the show at some point. As a matter of fact, that story would make a really good crossover between the CW shows.
