SUPERGIRL Season 2 Set Photos Reveal Move To Metropolis And An Iconic Comic Book Location

When it was revealed that the Man of Steel is coming to Supergirl, most of us assumed he would be paying a visit to National City. Instead, Kara will clearly be heading to Metropolis for a spell.

As you can see in the Tweets below, emergency vehicles and signs for LuthorCorp have been spotted on the set of Supergirl season two, and they confirm that at least some of the season will take place in Metropolis. However, with Kara Danvers getting a new job at CatCo and production moving from Los Angeles to Vancouver, could the Girl of Steel be about to make the move there from National City?

Chances are she's just visiting her cousin, but the presence of LuthorCorp is definitely interesting. While those signs may very well be little more than an Easter Egg for eagle eyed fans, it's possible that Lex could be introduced somewhere down the line. We'll have to wait and see, but getting to explore Superman's home from the perspective of Supergirl should be a lot of fun when the show returns.

It would be hilarious if a hypothetical CW Lex Luthor will turn out to be a much closer adaptation than the movie one.

@Doomsday8888 - I remember the last time I pulled a Smallville. I had to go to the doctor and was out of work for weeks!

@FinnBoyega - 30% on Rottentomatoes. If this keeps up, it'll be the same as BvS at 27%. Could it even go lower, by tomorrow? lol.

Wouldn't it be great if they introduced versions of Lex and Superman that didn't suck? They've already got a Jimmy Olsen who still has a face, so that's one right step.

I would actually like a black Lex Luthor. I think they cast a white gurl as his sister but a black Lex sounds great. Cast BJ Britt from Agents of SHIELD

It blows my mind that people are pissed Jimmy Olsen isn't a red-headed nerdy photographer. Who cares? Why is a direct adaptation SO important?

Give me a different Jimmy Olsen interpretation every time, in whatever way fits that story best.
