Last night, The CW debuted a brief new teaser video for the upcoming third season of Supergirl, featuring some fresh footage from the premiere episode.
Here we see The Girl of Steel (Melissa Benoist) preparing to do battle with a new villain who goes by the name of Bloodsport. DC Comics fans will probably recognize the name, as three different characters have taken up the mantle over the years. This is the Robert DuBois incarnation, who sports a signature red bandanna in the comics.
Supergirl Season 3 premieres on October 9th at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
