The Flash is all set to race back onto our screens for its sixth season on Tuesday, October 8, and The CW has now debuted some new key art for the long-running DC series.

The poster includes the tagline "Speed. Force," and features Grant Gustin as The Scarlet Speedster in his "New 52" inspired costume, along with Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibney, Candice Patton as Iris West Allen, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, and Danielle Panabaker as Killer Frost.

We still don't have a synopsis for the new season, but the recently released trailer did reveal that The Fastest Man Alive and co. would be going up against a new villain known as Bloodwork (Sendhil Ramamurthy).

Tell us, are you looking forward to the return of The Flash, or do you feel the show has run its course at this stage? Drop us a comment in the usual place.

The lightning bolt graphic was poorly placed and makes it look like he has a large yellow antenna sticking out of one ear.

@JonC - yeah, compared to the supergirl poster, this is very lacking

Where’s my Flash movie? It is over man. Get back to work Mr. Muschietti.

@TheUnworthyThor - A Flash movie starring Ezra Miller sounds terrible, it's better that it never happens

Thank god they at least fixed his mask. Season 5 suit was laughable. Don't like the show after season 2, but hopefully it gets better this season.

Loving the new suit but the chin strap is looking pretty goofy from that image.

Imma give this show one last shot. If it can impress me with this season premiere, then I'll bite to stick around. If not... CW & I...

@Androin009- yeah you're not missing anything except endless stupidity. Rarely, once in a blue moon does something decent appear. But its drowned out by the plethora of issues. There is no reason to get back into the show, I've kept watching so that I can keep up to date in the Arrowverse but its not worth it and I plan to drop the show (if nothing changes) after Crisis.

They seem to be going for a theme of having the team assembled, just like with the Supergirl one.

I like the poster, though since there is room for improvement if they could show more of the costume besides the return of the chinstrap it'd be nice. Still digging the wing bolts replacing the lightning bolts earpieces. Barry's face being right where the logo falls in fits.

And I think they got some inspiration for it from here:

Also, they released a 11 teaser that foreshadows CoIEs. Seems that Barry taps into the memories of Jay's helmet.

And Black Lightning S3 also has it's teaser.

@TheDoctor1225- finished watching Wu Assassins just now.

It was... good. Not great, and not pretty good either. It was very solid. I enjoyed watching it, it was a nice distraction but I felt the show lost a bit of steam in the back half of the season at times (though perhaps my favorite fight of the season is in episode 9). The fight choreography was terrific most of the time in WA and very brutal and visceral, by far the highlight of the season.

I thought Iko Uwais did a really good job, and also really liked Lewis Tan and Byron Mann (was actually quite disappointed that he was killed off, as Mann did a really good job, was the 2nd strongest character on the show and felt there was more that could have been achieved with his storyline). Tommy Flanagan also did a very good job, I'm a long time fan of his. And speaking of Flanagan, he was one of several characters that appeared that were bigger name actors that I wasn't expecting. The other two were Kevin Durant (who I also am a long time fan of, thought he played his small role fine) and Summer Glau (she was wasted). But I didn't really like any of the other main characters that much (Katheryn Winnick was alright I guess). And outside of Iko and Mann, I didn't feel that invested in characters.

I also didn't really like how they suddenly introduced the idea of the Wu and quickly made Kai the Wu Assassin out of the blue. And I think we needed to have spent more time learning about the nitty gritty details of this generations long fight, of what the powers were on both sides, etc. The writing and plot certainly were lacking at times and were the biggest overall issue with the show probably.

But overall, solid show. Inevitably [perhaps], I found myself comparing it to Iron Fist (season 2). Yes, I would argue that Wu Assassins is better than Iron Fist, though not by that much. Wu Assassins was better overall, but IF was better in certain aspects.

The suit looks good here. I thought it looked awful in the set photos.

@TheDoctor1225 - hmm, interesting. Tommy was the character I liked least I think, or at least one of the bottom ones for me. But yeah, Jenny was meh and C.G. started out really interesting and then I lost interest in her halfway. But yeah, outside of core characters the acting was mixed and as you said, didn't have connections with a lot of characters.

Yeah, Flanagan is always great, maybe it was just me but I thought I could hear some of the Braveheart tune at times with him, which I thought was neat since that was his first movie I believe. Though I will say, wasn't a big fan of Iko killing him, especially as his character had become humanized by the final episode. Here we were led to believe he wanted to destroy the world and in the end, all he wanted was to be with his family again.

2/5 seems a bit harsh, I usually don't grade on an out of 5 scale, if I did I would probably give it a 3.5/5, whereas I would give it like an 8.7 out of 10 (i know the math there doesn't make sense, but 8.7 is in the 'good' range and I gave Punisher s2 an 8.7 and I felt this was a bit on par with Punisher s2). With an out of 10 scale, I can better explain finer more detailed thoughts on rankings (if that makes sense, lol).

Yeah, I was NOT a fan of Altered Carbon. I watched it back when it first came out and was getting a lot of buzz, and I had some major issues with it. The best part is the visuals, and Kinnaman was actually good as well as the AI butler dude (he was probably my favorite), but if you strip the visuals away its like a 4 or 5/10 show. There was some really poor writing choices and I did not like the overall handling of the source material (I never read the books but man was that material poorly executed and choppy, just very forced into a 10 episode season.
