After delivering two critically acclaimed seasons, HBO’s
Westworld will return for another go next year, and while plot details remain under wraps, a new report has shed some light on the length of the series’ third season.
According to
The Wrap, season 3 will only run for 8 episodes, a minor reduction from the episode counts for seasons 1 and 2, which aired a total of 10 episodes each.
Currently, there are no details the length of these individual episodes, so it’s unclear whether
Westworld will make up for the reduction by treating viewers to some super-sized episodes.
Westworld is expected to return for its third season some time during the first half of 2020 and will see stars Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Ed Harris, and Tessa Thompson return to reprise their respective roles.
