Marvel's first journey into television hasn't gone as smoothly as planned. With viewers dropping off every week and competition from Arrow some expected the show wouldn't even return to UK screens.

But Channel 4 have confirmed that the show will be returning this March, they just don't know when. In a statement on when the show would return they had this to say:

SHIELD will be returning to Channel 4 most likely in March (exact date tbc). This is so that we can air the remainder of the series at one episode a week with no more breaks in between episodes.

Is Channel 4's hesitancy to return the show to screens worrying? Sign off your opinions below.
