THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER Set Video Features A Huge Fight Scene And Some Surprising New Details

Murphy's Multiverse has shared some new photos and videos from the set of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and the site reveals that one major action set-piece in the show will revolve around some sort of hostage situation at the 2023 G20 Summit in New York City.

Based on what we see here, it seems like a group of villains will assemble to attack, and potentially kidnap, the world leaders in attendance. The person who took these tells the site that, "The 2 armored vehicles come to a stop and 4 people run toward them. You can’t tell from the this but all 4 of them appeared to be females and they all wore masks. One of the ‘bad guys’ with the masks had brilliantly bright, long red curly hair."

It's hard to see in the video below (more footage and images can be found by following the link above), but John Walker's Captain America ends up being taken down by this girl gang, and it's Bucky who actually comes to his rescue.

Who are these women? Well, the site speculates that this could be the Grapplers. A group of female wrestlers given abilities by the Power Broker - who also transformed John Walker into a super soldier - the team was made up of villains like Titania, Letha, Poundcakes, and Screaming Mimi. The latter would later go on to be known as Thunderbolts member Songbird.

There's nothing to say that's who we're looking at here, but it's definitely feasible, and previous photos have shown a woman with pink hair fans are convinced could be that latter character.

Check out the footage below and let us know your thoughts on it in the comments section!

Introducing (and expanding) the Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation would be a pretty decent way to introduce a lot of characters. Like the aforementioned Grapplers, Dennis Dunphy, and even Ben Grimm.

Also I think it'd be awesome for a show that lampoons the various sports entertainment wrestling programs with actual super powers.

OT: Finally watched Birds of Prey. Saw it at home over the course of two nights, maybe that affected things, but I thought the first half was significantly better. I really wanted to like it, I just felt it was all over the place and didn't really know what it wanted to be. It worked best as a Harley solo movie, but at the same time, Huntress and Canary were the standouts, so it's really kinda messy to me.

Sionis was cool, but a one-off, I thought the Cassandra Cain actress was awful, Montoya's gf subplot was random (even though I love Ali Wong) and she becomes a 'Bird of Prey'?, Harley should have had a costume at some point, her outfits started to hurt my eyes. I just don't really know how to feel about it. Not as bad as Suicide Squad obviously but it kept some bad ideas. Strange editing/dialogue at times. Also thought the soundtrack was awful. I did enjoy the action scenes though. They were way more inventive with Harley than her just hitting someone with a bat for the entire runtime. Again, doesn't deserve hate or anything, but people on Twitter are fighting hard to prop it up as something greater than it is in my opinion.

Man... they are really mining the best mid ‘80s Cap stuff for this show and I’m into it.

I thoroughly enjoy the name Poundcakes. I’m going to be disappointed if someone isn’t referred to as Poundcakes now.

Sounds like Bucky and Sam and Walker will have to deal with femme fatales then.

If this speculation is true, I’m all for it! I like that quartet of villainesses, and Titania and Mimi should feature in the future in a big way.

This show is just sounding more and more like 6-8 hours of TWS. Which is the biggest DUB you can get.

The thought of Zemo and Screaming Mimi together in a show just gives me Thunderbolts thirst.
