Will FX Deliver LEGION's Iconic Hair And Classic X-MEN Costumes In Season 2?
"There's some hair we've got to work up to," teased actor Dan Stevens on Legion season 2. He also hinted that some "cool outfits" are in the cards along with some classic X-Men locations.
Not many knew what to expect with Noah Hawley's X-Men TV series for FX but Legion has quickly become the top comic book show for a number of comic book readers and superhero movie fans. Teasing where the show's second season is headed, lead actor Dan Stevens says the show will be working up to Legion's iconic hi-top in season 2.
"There's some cool outfits that we haven't seen; there's some hair that we've got to work up to; there's also some locations...there's some stuff in Tibet in the comics, I wouldn't be adverse to it."
While it's not made explicitly clear, the interviewer is interpreting Stevens' remark about "cool outfits" as a reference to the X-Men, who were absent in season 1 but will likely show up in the show's sophomore season. The mention of Tibet is likely a reference to the Si Spurrier's Legion-centric run in 2012's X-Men: Legacy miniseries.
Lenny Busker actress Audrey Plaza also teased that the show may provide some backstory for the Shadow King. "There's Farouk's [The Shadow King] family. Let's brig the family in, see where this b#%h comes from."
