MS. MARVEL Concept Art Reveals The Series Was Once Going To Take Kamala Khan Into The Noor Dimension

Some new Ms. Marvel concept art confirms that the Disney+ series was once going to take us to the Noor Dimension, and if this artwork is any indication, it would have been a true sight to behold on screen!

The pandemic threw many of Marvel Studios' plans into disarray, which could go some way towards explaining the apparent lack of connectivity between projects. In the case of Ms. Marvel, we did get a tease for The Marvels and a huge Kamala Khan reveal that's set the stage for mutants to finally make their presence felt in the MCU.

What we didn't get, however, were villains who actually made much of a lasting impact.

The Clandestine came across as being very low budget and were dealt with almost as quickly as they appeared. Their importance to the overall story being told proved minimal, and Head Writer Bisha K. Ali has even acknowledged that there's an awful lot about these mysterious beings from the Noor Dimension that we didn't get to see.

Now, thanks to concept artist Emmanuel Shiu, we know that we also missed out on a trip to the Noor Dimension! As you can see below, an early idea clearly called for Kamala to be transported to the mystical realm her grandmother called home. Was this just too much for a Disney+ budget?

We'll never know, but based on these illustrations, it's a real shame this sequence failed to make the final cut. It's possible The Marvels will expand on Ms. Marvel's lineage, though, likely linking the Clandestine (or that bangle at the very least) to the Kree somehow.

Check out this newly revealed concept art from the show below:

I don't share the opinion that the pandemic affected the MCU's connectivity when it comes to the shows, some of them like Moon Knight just needed their own space to grow and that is all.

But maybe the safety protocols did reduce the number of episodes for the series because if this one had the same amount as WandaVision and What If had then some extra episode would have been dedicated to explore said dimension.

Some of the links don't work anymore btw, they were deleted.

I really wish they hadn't decided to scrap a bunch of that Noor stuff, because now it just seems like an unnecessary and messy subplot we didn't need.

I had not idea what the Noor Dimension is supposed to be, so it would've been cool to actually see it. Couldn't really buy into the Clandestine's journey home, because I didn't know what that home was.

I thought this show was a mess, beginning to end. Kamala wasn't even the main character. The main character was the Pakistani/Islam culture. That was the focal point of the entire run of episodes and everything else felt like an afterthought.
