Today's episode of WandaVision revealed that Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff is the Scarlet Witch, and her powers (including the ability to alter reality) are a result of Chaos Magic. We still have a lot of questions heading into next week's finale, and Marvel Studios will hopefully provide satisfying answers.
For now, it's clear that the series is potentially heading in a different direction than most fans expected, but Wanda's full transformation into the Scarlet Witch - likely setting up her role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - really can't get here soon enough. We caught a glimpse of her in what appeared to an upgraded costume today when Wanda witnessed her future courtesy of the Mind Stone, but it was a blink and you'd miss it moment.
Thankfully, one clever Twitter user has managed to enhance a screenshot to give us our best look yet at the Scarlet Witch's comic accurate outfit. As you can see, she has the headpiece, and the suit teased in those character posters is indeed what the hero will be wearing as we head into Phase 4.
It's about time Wanda got a proper superhero transformation, and we now know why WandaVision made a point of having Director Hayward and Jimmy Woo talk about her not having a code name.
