After nine episodes, WandaVision has come to a conclusion, and this is definitely a series we'll be talking about for many months to come. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness isn't set to be released in theaters until next March, so there's plenty of time to debate what comes next for the Scarlet Witch!
The Disney+ TV show was "Certified Fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes after reviews for the first three episodes landed, but now the verdicts for each individual instalment have been counted, we have final score. The review aggregator takes the scores for both those who reviewed the entire season and each instalment (a critic can't do both) combining them in order to come up with an accurate number.
So, unless something drastic happens, WandaVision wraps up with an impressive 91% score.
"Part loving homage to TV history, part off-kilter mystery," reads the Critics Consensus, "WandaVision is a wonderfully weird and strikingly bold step into the small screen for the MCU - and a perfect showcase for Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany."
Here are the scores for each episode:
"Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience" - 100%
"Don't Touch That Dial" - 100%
"Now in Color" - 86%
"We Interrupt This Program" - 91%
"On a Very Special Episode..." - 100%
"All-New Halloween Spooktacular!" - 95%
"Breaking the Fourth Wall" - 84%
"Previously On" - 95%
"The Series Finale" - 81%
As you can see, the series finale was least liked by critics, though that's no great surprise given how many expectations there were heading into the episode. Overall, though, WandaVision has proved to be a big win for Marvel Studios, and you can check out our review of the entire season by clicking here.
