What If...? is a show that promises to turn everything we thought we knew about the Marvel Cinematic Universe on its head, and that includes introducing a few very different takes on some familiar faces.
However, Nebula's face is one we barely recognise on this packaging for an upcoming Marvel Legends action figure. While we're sure she might be concealing something beneath her hair, "Heist Nebula" clearly hasn't been through the same brutal experiments at the hands of the Mad Titan as her MCU counterpart.
An official description for this Nebula states, "Tech savvy and brave, Nebula is an intergalactic opportunist who is ready for adventure..."
That obviously doesn't reveal much, but it sounds like she might have at least a few traits in common with the Nebula we've come to know. As of right now, we can't be sure whether any of these What If...? characters will appear in live-action, though it would be a blast to see Karen Gillan play this vastly different version of the reluctant hero in a future project.
It's hard not to look at this Nebula and be reminded of what happened in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline when she used the Gems to restore her original appearance, but will that be the case in this reality?
