With What If...?'s first season at an end, Marvel Studios has shared one final gallery of stills from the animated series. These are obviously all from "What If...The Watcher Broke His Oath?." and we kick things off by paying a visit to the alternate realities the Guardians of the Multiverse hail from.
That closer look at Eitri is definitely appreciated, and we're sure you'll notice that this Variant still has his hands. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until season 2 before finding out whether Peter Dinklage was enlisted to play the King of the Dwarves. Elsewhere, we see Killmonger's past catch up with him and Party Thor in action against Infinity Ultron's army of drones.
The rest of the stills put the spotlight on that bar Doctor Strange created for his teammates and the epic battle between the Guardians of the Multiverse and the seemingly unstoppable android.
Killmonger donning the armour and wielding the Infinity Stones obviously didn't last long, but it did prove that redemption might be impossible for the villain. Despite that, many fans are hoping he might have survived in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so Michael B. Jordan can pick up where Chadwick Boseman left off following his death last year after a lengthy cancer battle.
Time will tell on that front, but it was a real treat to see (well, hear) the actors share the screen again in this series.
