The latest episode of What If...? was a little more comedic than previous instalments, taking us to a reality where Thor was brought up as an only child. Here, Loki was returned to his Frost Giant parents, and without the God of Mischief to keep him on his toes, this Thor has become more of a party animal than a superhero.
He was never humbled upon reaching Earth, and while this God of Thunder was by no means a bad guy, he had quite a few lessons to learn over the course of this wacky adventure.
After meeting his match in Captain Marvel, Thor avoided getting in trouble with his mom and found romance with his reality's Jane Foster. We're not sure how much he really learned, but it seemed like he might at least be on the right path...until that big cliffhanger ending changed everything.
A number of Ultron drones arrived on Earth with their leader revealed as a Vision who was decked out in Ultron armour and seemingly wielding all of the Infinity Stones. We have no idea where things go from here, but this has to be addressed in some way as we head into the final two episodes. There are a lot of dangling story threads that need to be expanded upon, but it's how they all link up that remains the biggest question surrounding this animated series right now.
In the meantime, Marvel Studios has dropped a huge gallery of stills from the latest episode of What If...? highlighting plenty of major moments (including many of the episode's big cameos).
