Fret not, Cowboy Bebop fans, for Radical Ed is indeed a part of Netflix's live-action adaptation of the iconic anime series.

The fan-favorite character was not expected to appear after being notably absent from the main cast announcements, but they do show up at a pivotal point, and are sure to join Spike, Jet and Faye on their adventures should the show be renewed for a second season.

Now, Netflix has officially introduced newcomer Eden Perkins (they/them) as Ed - full name Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivruski IV - via a short GIF which also gives us a first look at the hacker extraordinaire.

Spoilers for the Cowboy Bebop finale ahead.

In the last episode, "Supernova Symphony," Ed and Ein find Spike passed out in an alley, where the rather excitable teen tells the forlorn bounty hunter that they have a dangerous job for him which involves tracking down someone known as the Butterfly Man (we're going to assume this is actually Vincent Volaju).

Have you guys been enjoying Cowboy Bebop? How do you think it compares to the anime? Drop us a comment down below, and be sure to check out our review here.
