Stranger Things season 2 - or more accurately, Stranger Things 2 as it's now known - will be available to stream Netflix just in time for Halloween next month, and to get fans even more hyped for a sure-to-be suspenseful return to Hawkins, Indiana, EW has debuted three different covers featuring some familiar faces.

In the accompanying interview, one half of the showrunner siblings, Ross Duffer, reveals that the enormous creature Will sees in the sky in the first teaser is known as the Shadow Monster, and this mysterious new enemy will actually connect all of the separate story strands this season. “It’s all connected to this singular threat, which is tied into this shape that Will sees in the sky.”

Find out more HERE, and check out the covers featuring the four boys, fan-favourite telekinetic Eleven, Chief Hopper, Joyce Byers, and her new fella Bob Newby.
