What an ending! In the season finale of The Mandalorian, we not only got to see the bounty hunter's face but his true name - Din Djarin - was also revealed. It was also confirmed that he wasn't born on Mandalore and was instead taken in as a child and raised in their ways ("This is the way.").

By the time the episode ended, he had been given a jetpack and a brand new mission: to deliver The Child to a Jedi Knight and the hunt is now on to find one in a Galaxy with only Luke Skywalker!

Of course, given Dave Filoni's role in The Mandalorian, Ezra Bridger or Ahsoka Tano making an appearance wouldn't be a huge surprise, especially as the episode ends with Moff Gideon wielding the Dark Saber which factored into both Star Wars Rebels and The Clone Wars in a major way.

We'll have to wait and see but check out some images from the finale by hitting the "View List" button!

Liked the final .But I hate when they talk about the jedi like they are à myth .So people know about Mandalore and the Mandalorians and not about the Jedi ? . Specially the reason of the fallen of the empire is à Jedi Knight who should be very very famous .

@EmperorCipher - You can say it was taboo to talk about the jedi during the reign of the Empire .But I think the show take place 5 years after The Return of the Jedi so if you are à like one of the top bounty hunter in the galaxy you should probably heard about Luke Skywalker and Know about the Jedi .

@NightwingNad - if they watched the movie....remember this stuff takes place with 1 or two witnesses, in some cases none at all. Who is going to tell the tale? I cant think of a battle in any of the movies where there was an audience.

Kind of wished they didn't show his face.

@MasterMix - same but if it's one and done I'm cool with it. Though that Dredd movie from years back got it right.

Amazing finale!

The TIE Fighter vs. Mando sequence was one of the coolest things I've seen in Star Wars and the cinematography overall was stunning for a TV Show. It had that realistic feeling of RO, where the camera seemed actually attached to the TIE Fighter.

Also, Giancarlo with a Darksaber = WIN.

Gideon brings me Krennic vibes of being a serious prick and I am glad they left him alive for S2.

Can't wait!

This is going to sound like a weird complaint but.....I'm kinda annoyed they took his helmet off. The moment wasn't really big enough to deserve it. It wasn't an epic moment. It wasn't an emotional moment. It was over in the blink of an eye before we could even process it. They just seemed to do it for the sake of it and I feel it ruins the mystery of the character. Can you imagine how cool it would be if he took it off in the final ever episode of the show. If he just kept the helmet on for nearly the entire run. That would be so much better
