Despite reliable trade reports and some hints from the actress herself, Rosario Dawson has yet to be officially confirmed to appear as Ahsoka Tano in Season 2 of The Mandalorian. We had hoped to catch a glimpse of the fan-favourite force-wielder in the trailer, but the showrunners clearly want to keep that reveal under wraps for as long as possible.
There's a good chance we will finally get a look at Tano at some point over the next few weeks as the second season of Disney+'s Star Wars series continues, but for now, God of War art director Raf Grassetti has unveiled his interpretation of the character, which has clearly been inspired by Dawson's likeness.
We've seen a lot of Ahsoka fan-art over the past few months, but this might well be the best yet.
This is just the latest in a series of character designs from Grassetti, who recently shared his takes on some iconic Batman: The Animated Series villains and several X-Men heroes.
Previous rumors have suggested that Tano will only have a minor role in this season of The Mandalorian to set up a spinoff series, and while that's likely still the case, reports indicate that she will have "more than a brief cameo."
What do you guys make of this artwork? How do you think Ahsoka will be introduced in The Mandalorian? Let us know in the comments.
