THE MANDALORIAN: "The Heiress" Stills Include Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan-Kryze, Moff Gideon, And More

Lucasfilm has released a new batch of stills from last Friday's episode of The Mandalorian, and as you might expect, it's Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) and her fellow Mandalorians who get the spotlight.

The Mandalorian's second season is off to a great start, and while Ahsoka Tano is almost certainly coming to the Disney+ series at some point in the next few weeks, everyone is talking about Bo-Katan Kryze's live-action debut right now.

The character was introduced as a member of Death Watch in The Clone Wars, but later found redemption and became the rightful wielder of the Darksaber. That weapon has since been taken from her by Moff Gideon, while Mandalore appears to have been decimated by the Empire (Din Djarin doesn't even believe the planet to be hospitable).

In Friday's episode of The Mandalorian, titled "The Heiress," we found Bo-Katan on a mission to regain her home, and Lucasfilm has now released some hi-res stills from the episode. As you can see, the spotlight is primarily put on the show's guest stars, though we also get a glimpse of Moff "Long Live The Empire!" Gideon as he continues to call the shots.

There are still a lot of questions about how the series is going to cross into the wider Star Wars mythos, and it's getting increasingly harder to believe that everything from these remnants of the Empire to those hints about cloning won't tie into the sequel trilogy in some way (whether we like it or not).

All Mandalorians looked so [frick]ing badass in this episode, but I'm still a little bit thrown off by Bo-Katan's haircut (although I get that the Clone Wars cut is impossible to do in live-action)

If some shots from the Razor Crest crash landing sequence felt familiar, it's because Bryce Dallas Howard borrowed some of them from her father's film Apollo 13 by Ron Howard.
