BOBA FETT Disney+ TV Series Could Reportedly Start Shooting As Soon As Next Week

Boba Fett made his shocking return during last week's episode of The Mandalorian, but an update to that earlier report about the show's third season indicates he is indeed getting his own solo series...

Last night, we told you that Sophie Thatcher had joined the cast of The Mandalorian's second season with the door open to an appearance either in season three or one of the upcoming spinoffs.

While Deadline's report debunked claims that Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) are getting their own show, the trade has now updated its story with quite the bombshell! They reiterate that production on a third season begins soon, but notes that there's some confusion about when work begins (if it's not next week, it could be early next year or the Spring).

Why? Well, "One explanation could be rumors that another Mandalorian-related project, I hear possibly a Boba Fett miniseries, would film first, starting next week, with The Mandalorian Season 3 following after a monthlong break." That's right, it appears the iconic bounty hunter is finally getting his own show!

A Boba Fett TV series has been rumoured for a while now, and it's no secret that Lucasfilm once had a movie in the works revolving around the iconic Star Wars villain. Depending on how much more of him we see in The Mandalorian, this will likely explain how he survived the events of Return of the Jedi and reveal what became of him next.

We'll have to wait and see, but this is a reliable source, so expect an official announcement soon.

I wonder what they can do with a Boba Fett show that The Mandalorian can't. And from the revived characters that only were originally there to look cool, Maul deserves a show more than Fett

Please, we would have heard something by now.

If anything ever does happen, they should give Daniel Logan a role, he played the role in Clone Wars and is really closer in age to what Boba should be at this point in his life. At least give him some flashbacks. Kind of think they should have had him play Boba and Temuera play Rex.

Feels unnecessary to me with The Mandalorian, I was never much of a Boba Fett fan anyway, he was only popular for having a cool outfit.

Why is this article quoting someone saying its a rumor but also trying to pass it off as fact?

"One explanation could be rumors that another Mandalorian-related project"

"That's right, it appears the iconic bounty hunter is finally getting his own show!"

And there is honestly no reason to have a Boba Fett show. The Mandalorian was created BECAUSE of a canceled Boba Fett project.

The Boba Fett Show has to be a one-season series. It begins during "Return of Jedi" and is about Boba Fett's new life away from his armor and his identity.

Mandolorian is a Boba Fett show though. They just chose to not make it him so they weren’t held back by how much of an idiot the character is 😂
