Among the various Sony-led projects currently in development, Venom 3 is surely on the fan's watchlist, as the last we saw of Eddie Brock and Venom was teasing of a coming interaction between Spider-Man; a meeting fans have been anticipating to witness again since Spider-Man 3.

The upcoming film had its first production set photos released by Murcia Today, in the Cartagena neighborhood residing in Los Mateos, Spain, confirming the third installment of the series is scheduled to begin filming sometime next week in the area.

Interestingly enough, Los Mateos was selected as the filming area for the movie, as the aesthetic of the location looked similar to certain streets of Mexico, confirmed by production head of the film, Tate Araez.

The last we saw of Eddie Brock was in a Mexican-themed bar at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, while drunkingly attempting at inquiring to a bartender where he could find Spider-Man, before seemingly returning back to his dimension, and leaving a small trace of the Venom symbiote left behind.

These photos taken Los Mateos, Spain, could be a sign that the film will focus on the events continuing from Spider-Man: No Way Home, as we may follow Eddie Brock and Venom in pursuit for whichever Spider-Man is the currently web-slingling in their universe.
