Spectacular Todd McFarlane Inspired Fan-Art Pits Tom Hardy's VENOM Against Tom Holland's SPIDER-MAN

We're probably not going to see Spider-Man cross paths with Venom in the villain's upcoming movie but this new fan-art pits Tom Hardy's symbiote against Tom Holland's wall-crawler. Check it out here...

With Spider-Man currently part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony Pictures is clearly intent on building its own Spider-Man Universe...minus the wall-crawler, of course. That means we're getting a very different take on Venom's origin story this October and fans are understandably disappointed. However, a new piece of fan-art sheds some light on what a battle between the two could look like.

As you can see in this Todd McFarlane inspired
piece of fan-art, Venom has easily vanquished his foe and it would be nothing short of spectacular (and amazing) to see this moment brought to life.

Unfortunately, Marvel Studios is unlikely to utilise Tom Hardy's Venom as it would be too confusing, especially as his movie is unlikely to include any references to the MCU (bear in mind that Kevin Feige has no involvement with the project). Still, a fight between the two could happen somewhere down the line so we'll have to wait and see. What do you guys think of this awesome piece of fan-art?

@Vigor - Bullshit. All you need is loud noises to defeat Venom.

My grandma could destroy Venom. He's not that hard to beat.

@Vigor - Agree. Spidey in Infinity War was really a step-up in terms of suit, powers and strength levels for the character.

- He had an iron suit with 4 legs at the back
- He had Spidey sense
- He fought and slowed down Cull Obsidian in NY
- He gave the idea of how to defeat Maw to Stark
- He flew into space, had a team-up fight against Thanos and managed to save most of the Guardians after Thanos threw the moon debris at them

The Russo really know how to showcase power levels of these characters. They did a wonderful job with Strange, too.

Although to be honest, yes he should be in the mcu. Tom hardy with a voice in his head would have been the perfect villain for a spiderman movie.

Slightly on topic: I'm rewatching Spider-Man 2 today (I haven't in YEARS) and boy did so many women do that annoying and cheesy "stare at the camera and give me your best damsel in distress scream!" thing WAY too often lol.

Can't wait to see this happen onscreen. It shouldn't be long. Spidey will be allowed to mingle with the other Sony creations after Far From Home is over.
