Many fans have been waiting for MW3 multiplayer news for quite a while now, and Call of Duty XP has given us an update about it's highly-anticipated multiplayer.
Killstreak rewards have changed and been turned into point streaks, awarding players not only for kills but for instances such as capturing a strategic position.
Point streaks come in three strike packages, giving players a wider range of options. They include: Assault, similar to killstreaks in the past; Support, giving bonuses such as special ballistic vests for your team; and Strategic, instead unlocking you perks. Strategic also does not reset after a death.
Perks such as Commando, which was highly controversial among fans, are gone, and there are plenty of new and exciting perks.
We will also be able to level up weapons and have a wider range of attachments,
All the classic modes are back(team deathmatch, capture the flag), but there is a new mode called Kill Confirmed, that forces you to collect a players dog tag before counting as a kill.
Also, spec ops makes a return, now with Mission and the popular new Survival Mode, in which you fight an endless wave of enemies to survive the longest.
There are definitely some changes here, but for me this is a day one buy. What about you? Sound off in the comments.
