'Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2' gets Carnage DLC!

Activision have dropped the first sneak preview of Ultimate Alliance 2's next DLC pack, which adds Spidey super villain, Carnage!

The game's makers, Activision had this to say, "Carnage will allow gamers to experience Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 from a totally new perspective - be careful though, evil has never been so good."

There's no date for the add-on yet but Activision says to expect it "soon".

I still havent bought this game due to being too busy with playing Fallout 3 but after posting this artilce Im getting it 2moro!!! :)

yeah, I'm not a big fan of DLC, it seems like a rip off, especially if I've already paid alot for the game itself. I don't mind it for some of my wii games like Final fantasy crystal chronicles, but that's because the game itself only cost 10 bucks so then I don't mind paying for little upgrades, but when the game costs 50 there is no way I'm paying more for it.

penance is the only good thing about the game. even though he isnt that great in it. its still cool to see him. but this game was very repetative and too easy.

Check out some of the screenshots that Activision released today of Carnage! He's looking pretty bad!

I've got a screenshot of his alternate costume... Kind of cool, but I like the original :)

Im not paying for this though if its just the character - under £2 is ok but anything more and no way!

Some DLC is a rip off (Star Wars The Force Unleashed) whilst some is worth it (Fallout 3, Prince of Persia) and some just seems pointless (New track for Motorstorm seem a little expensive at £7.99!!!)

You have to be a VIP to view some of the info on their site, including the alternate costume. I'm not sure if the VIP has anything to do with actually getting the costume in-game...

Ultimate alliance 1 was a better game, the only improvement in 2 was expanded environments. I waited too long for this game and was disappointed, maybe I'll get my wish and they will finally do X-Men legends 3. I won't hold my breath

And another thing with this f**king game, all of these videos and commercials for this game look nothing like what you play on the screen. there's no adjustable camera angle like in the first game. Everything looks too high overhead, why can't they just make it a third person game so you can really see all the bullshit they advertise. The fusions and game play in general would be so much cooler in third person then this eagle eye shit.

ASSASSIN666: To be fair, games never really look like they do in the trailers (though some do) but I looked up ome gameplay vids on YouTube and the graphics look pretty great i thought! I agree about the camera angle though - I found it really annoying in the first game! Still, putting it in third person would make it an entirely different game so Im not sure if they would ever do that unfortunately!

Josh- I think it's just my frustration with the limitations of this game. Alliance 1 had four costumes, this one has two. The Wii version had Cyclops, Xbox got Iceman. I really thought this game was going to push the first game back to the stone age, and it wasn't the case. I also felt that Cap and Thor were stronger in Alliance 1, I wish they used the same team to develop this one. I play it cause I'm a Marvel junkie, but three years later and little improvement is no excuse for any sequel

the reason there is downloadable content is because after a games released the developers think of other cool ideas and such like fallout where they come up with whole new stories and locations expanding the game its just like an expansion pack for a pc game as for this game it looks great i have not played it yet but this article is makin me want to buy it even more

meh, you're right about fallout 3, but most of the time sabertooth it's just a grab for cash. these "extra" characters aren't things they thought of later they knew they were going to add them the whole time...right from day one they talked about additional downloadable characters. They could have easily made them unlockable during the game but then they wouldn't get any extra cash.
