Ryan Reynolds Reveals How He Could Look As Johnny Cage In Response To MORTAL KOMBAT Fan-Casts

The final shot of Mortal Kombat confirmed plans to introduce Johnny Cage in a possible sequel (the movie is performing very well, so chances are good), and many fans believe Ryan Reynolds would be the perfect actor to bring the Hollywood hardman to life on the big screen.

Of course, fan-casts gave way to "rumors" that the Deadpool star may actually be in talks to play Cage in Mortal Kombat II, and Reynolds has now responded in typically hilarious fashion.

Making sure to get a plug in for his Mint Mobile promotional campaign, Reynolds took to Twitter to share a video-game style rendering of himself as Johnny Cage fighting for "Mint" against "Big Wireless."

We can't see Reynolds actively campaigning for this role anytime soon, but others have been happy to throw their shades in the ring, including WWE Superstar The Miz.

What do you guys think? Would you like to see Ryan Reynolds play Johnny Cage in a Mortal Kombat sequel, or do you have another actor in mind? Let us know in the comments.
