The second season of Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within is coming to a close on March 27 with the release of its finale episode Same Stitch. And the studio is holding nothing back as it is easily the developer's most ambitious episode to date.

In typical Telltale fashion, Same Stitch takes into account all of your decisions and choices made throughout the season.

"What would you choose: a friend whose unhinged approach to justice turns your allies against you, or a sworn enemy who will stop at nothing to see you suffer as your city burns? Based on the relationship you've built with John Doe, you'll see one of two very different stories play out. So what'll it be, Bruce: friend...or foe?"

The choices you have made will ultimately determine which story - and which version of The Joker - you'll see in the finale.

"Same Stitch features two totally separate takes on the fully evolved John Doe: one a ruthless villain that hews closer to the classic Clown Prince of Crime and the other an unpredictable vigilante that's unlike any other portrayal of DC's iconic character."

Described as Telltale's "branchiest" episode ever, Same Stitch delivers three and a half hours worth of content, spread across two completely distinct storylines "that share, at most, only three overlapping scenes." The overall script for the episode is actually larger than Christopher Nolan's entire Dark Knight trilogy, with over 4,500 lines of dialogue divided among 38 characters.

"Without exaggeration, Same Stitch is the most ambitious piece of content Telltale has ever produced," said Season Lead Writer James Windeler. "We had to adjust our usual development process to accommodate the added scope, but it was super important to us to honor players' choices, whether they chose to befriend John or not. We had to deliver on the season's central promise of allowing players to craft their own Joker."

Batman: The Enemy Within - Same Stitch will be available on Tuesday, March 27 for Xbox One, PS4, PC/Mac, and mobile. A 'Season Pass Disc' containing all five episodes in the season is available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

I'm really enjoying this new take on...everybody, although i liked the first season way more than this, even if there was no Joker or any other famous Bat-villain.
I mostly watch the gameplay, cause...eh, same difference. :P

@Doomsday8888 - I haven't watched Telltale yet. My 2ife and I watched through the Arkham games though, and she loves it. Maybe I'll give it a go.

Strange for them to compare a video game to a movie....

That's great and all...but where the hell is their Game of Thrones season 2? The whole thing is still left wide open after the huge cliffhanger that ends season 1.

I am so mixed on telltale

Season 1 was mixed. I love the Two-Face & Catwoman stuff but I’m mixed on Penguin, Vicki, & Children Of Arkham. I get why they did it. To show this is a different take on Batman with a different Thomas but I didn’t connect to that like I connected with Harvey

Season 2 IMO is just bad

The first episode was great & perfect IMO. Riddler arrivals. Lucius dies. I’m invested. Then Riddler is killed off & Waller arrives which ruins everything about this season. I don’t care about anything this group of criminals with Joker, Harley, Bane, & Freeze are doing. I’m forced to work with them

I don’t get why Waller makes me go undercover as Bruce Wayne. Why not have Matches Malone? Shouldn’t the criminals look at Bruce & think “wow we can get anything we want with this playboy billionaire”? I think this whole Pact storyline is dumb. I think Waller’s involvement is dumb. Waller is blackmailing Bruce. If I’m Bruce, I wouldn’t care if she revealed my identity. But in going forward, why is she forcing Bruce to go undercover without a disguise?

Outside of the stuff with Lucius’s daughter, the first episode, & the design of Bane which I like; Season 2 has been awful imo

@LEVITIKUZ - I actually don't mind character changes. Penguin being an old friend of Bruce was good, but I hate that the Joker is basically a lovelorn teenager in this. Harley is more deranged than he is.

I've been reading White Knight and there's two versions of Harley Quinn. One is Harleen Quinzel who wears the classic costume and the other is a bank clerk who dresses like Harley from the Suicide Squad. Whilst Harley is in love with Jack Napier, the bank clerk is in love with the Joker. She's obsessed with him because he basically saved her life. When he chooses to go with Harley, the bank clerk gets even crazier and becomes the Neo-Joker to bring the real Joker back out.

That's a pretty good take on the characters to be honest, but the Telltale series is pretty awful for their take on them.

@LEVITIKUZ - I personally thought the first season was fairly boring, but I'm loving the second season 2. I'm enjoying all the takes on classic Batman villains and choices feel like they matter a bit more. Just my two cents.

@LEVITIKUZ - Because they're not telling the same ass story you've seen a million freakin' times. Oh, and also, because people know what Bruce Wayne looks like. It isn't the damn 50's where you can not shave for a couple of days, dye your hair, and talk funny and suddenly no one's going to recognize one of the most recognizable faces on the planet. Besides, they specifically needed Wayne's Tech. Matches Malone doesn't get them that kind of access. Plus, they spent all of the first season dirtying up Wayne's name so that it would be plausible to villains to think him trustworthy. It's called character building.

I love what Telltale is doing with the Joker. Your choices end up creating the Joker we know from the comics or a Joker that becomes a misguided vigilante. It works in the context of this game. Everything else has been okay so far.

I really want to see Telltale make a Superman game next. I've enjoyed what I've played (read) and I think they could make an interesting story for Superman. I also think they could have a level where you play as Clark Kent being a reporter. Because the levels that you play as Bruce Wayne makes me believe Clark could be great to play as too.

@BlackIceJoe - I'd like to see their take on the Terminator. It could be mainly set during the future war but with flashbacks to the past and whatever choice you make in the past affects the future. There hasn't been a great Terminator game for years. Redemption was the last good one.
