Naughty Dog has officially released a gameplay video showing off their remastered UNCHARTED: Drake's Fortune, which will be one of 3 gmaes in the UNCHARTED: The Nathan Drake Collection. The video shows us the beauty that is remastering classics. If you're wondering how they did it, one of the processes in having more detailed characters was that they took the rendering and textures from the game's cinematics, they then used that to replace the gameplay model of the players. Pretty smart move from Naughty Dog, right?

 UNCHARTED: The Nathan Drake Collection hits stores October 9th.

NAUGHTY DOG's Official Synopsis:

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is the culmination of years of hard work at our studio that has been lovingly rebuilt by the team at Bluepoint Games. It’s incredible to watch Drake run, leap, and shoot on the PS4 with enhanced graphics and gameplay. Capturing those white-knuckle, trademark Uncharted moments has never been more fun than via the new Photo Mode tools built into the collection. Various improvements in lighting, rendering, texture mapping, and dynamic audio mean all three games are looking and sounding better than ever.

@Kr08

I've been out of the gaming community for awhile, haha, so I don't know much about what's going on....

Are we at the point where the PS4 is worth it in your opinion? A few months ago somebody was telling me that the PS3 was still a better option

Tell me Sebastian Stan doesn't look like Nathan Drake and isn't the best choice to play him in the Uncharted movie!

I'm still holding out as well. Arkham Knight and the new Assassin's Creed make it hard not to give in, but not being able to play my PS3 games on it until more titles I like are available makes me more likely to wait.

I ALMOST gave in when WalMart had a GREAT promo bundle deal:

$400
500GB PS4 with 3 months of PSN
Arkham Knight console bundle
Madden NFL 16
and choice of: Destiny, Call of Duty Ghosts or Evolve

@ImKennyPowers--Absolutely not. That title belongs to Colin Donnell.

@DrKinsolving I myself own a PS4 and quite a few games. My favorites are Infamous Second Son, Batman Arkham Knight, The Last of Us Remastered, and I'm looking forward to this ad Uncharted 4. The PS4 like any gaming system is going to have bad games just as it has good games. So, it's up to you and your preference if you want next-gen.

@ImKennyPowers For me it's either Bradley Cooper or Chris Pratt. I would love Nathan Fillion, but he's gotten too old and he would have to physically work hard to get into good shape. Chris Pratt would be perfect considering people want him as the new Indiana Jones, but Nathan Drake would allow him to take on an original character without being compared to Ford.

@Kr08

Cool, thanks, yeah the Arkham games are definitely the first games that I would buy for it, like I said, haven't played for awhile, I want to check out Metal Gear Solid, and Uncharted too, I've heard good things about Infamous and The Last of Us

I had to google who that is. haha. To each their own, but I can't imagine they'd cast someone in the lead role who is yet to be in a movie, ya know? Maybe if Uncharted is a TV movie he'd be considered?

They're fan favorites for almost every other upcoming roles. hahaha. And deservedly so, how can anyone not love them??

I just think Sebastian Stan looks the part and he's more likely to have the schedule availability than Cooper & Pratt. Both are so hot right now, as great as they'd be for this and lots of other roles, Stan might be a more realistic choice.

Who said it'd be shit?? haha. I really want the Assassin's Creed movie to be great, but even with Fassbender I have my doubts.

All the ones I've seen are shit. Seems every video game movie hollywood makes fails to be a good adaptation.

Last I heard about the Uncharted movie that was scrapped was they had Pesci, DeNiro, and Wahlberg. The movie was described to be a family dynamic or some crap. It sounded awful. Avi Arad was involved with it too so it was destined to be crap.
